In Scorrano the XVII century old palace, home to Duke Guarini, is now open to guests.
A few distinguished rooms and suites plunged in a late XVIII century park, with citrus trees, palms, exotic plants, old rose gardens, columns and fountains.
The rooms are sober but elegant, built with the traditional ceiling “ a botte “ or “ a stella”, iron bedsteads and old household furniture, whereas the bathrooms are decorated with hand painted ceramics.
Guests will have the opportunity to visit the places of the wine, in the cellar located few meters away from the palace and, at the shadow of the arbor, they can taste wines, extra virgin olive oil and delicious hand made vegetables pates.
They can have relaxing walks through the property of the Azienda Agraria Duca Guarini , to admire the ancient little woods and olive groves, outbuilding in “ pietra a secco “ and manor farms.
A fascinating atmosphere in a peaceful village in the heart of Salento at 30 km south from Lecce and close to the most beautiful coastal places of the region.
