The name celebrates the years that have passed since Accardo Guarini, Count of Valesio, in 1114 cultivated his vineyard on the Pìutri estate, as documented in a coeval parchment. Obtained from carefully selected grapes and harvested in the third week of September, it is vinified in ancient cisterns dug into the cement-plastered cellar floor equipped with temperature control to improve fermentation temperatures.
A long-lived wine, elegant, rich and intense, it expresses with great finesse the best qualities that the famous vine of the Salento peninsula can offer when it is cultivated with love and competence in highly suited soils.
